Industrial organisations invest significant capital in expanding production capacity, upgrading equipment and improving operational performance. Yet one of the biggest barriers to productivity is often hidden inside existing infrastructure. Material build-up within silos and bulk material handling systems can quietly reduce effective storage capacity, restrict material flow and create operational inefficiencies that remain unnoticed until production is affected.
Since these changes occur gradually, they are often accepted as part of normal operations. Production targets continue to be met, albeit with increasing effort, while operators adjust processes to compensate for slower material flow or recurring blockages.
